Job description

As an Entry - Level Enterprise Systems Coordinator , you will support the day - to - day operation, structure, and administration of SubSea Craft ' s enterprise systems. This is an on - site role with flexibility in working hours but requires presence with our engineering and operations teams.

Enterprise System Support

Support user setup, access requests, and permissions across our enterprise platforms.

Maintain accurate and up - to - date user records, roles, and security groups.

Responsibilities will include:

Jira & Confluence Administration

Assist in the creation and maintenance of Jira projects, boards, workflows, and fields.

Help structure and maintain Confluence spaces, templates, and documentation pages.

Ensure good housekeeping across both systems (archiving, cleanup, naming consistency).

Reporting & Light Scripting

Use introductory JavaScript skills to support simple reporting enhancements (e.g., dashboard widgets, ScriptRunner snippets).

Support the generation and upkeep of operational dashboards and reports used across the business.

Run basic SQL queries (with training provided) to extract, validate , or manipulate data for reporting purposes.

User Support & Issue Resolution

Support colleagues with system queries and basic troubleshooting.

Escalate more complex technical issues when required .

Process & Workflow Governance

Contribute to the documentation and improvement of system processes and workflow standards.

Requirements

his role is designed for candidates early in their career with an interest in enterprise systems, digital tools, or process optimisation. We do not expect deep prior experience , training will be provided.

Essential:

Basic familiarity with Jira or Confluence (from university, self - learning, or previous roles).

Exposure to JavaScript (coursework or small personal projects).

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and willingness to support colleagues.

Enthusiasm to learn enterprise system administration.

Desirable:

Experience in administration, IT support, or a coordination role.

Understanding of digital workflows or documentation structures.

Interest in automation, API usage, or enterprise reporting tools.

Experience using SQL to support reporting, data analysis, or system checks.

Note : Due to the nature of work undertaken at SubSea Craft, the selected candidate must be capable of meeting the security requirements of the position, which would include as a minimum e xisting right to live and work in the UK, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with UK National s ecurity clearance required for certain roles .*
