In this position, you will:
- Support configuration identification, change control, status accounting, and audits for NAS systems.
- Document and maintain configuration baselines for deployed and planned systems.
- Assist with developing and executing configuration validation plans.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure configuration changes meet technical and operational requirements.
- Provide input to enhance configuration management processes and tools.

- Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12+ years of relevant configuration management or systems engineering experience.
- Hands-on expertise in designing, validating, operating, and maintaining configurations for large-scale systems.
- Proven ability to direct enterprise-level configuration management efforts across large-scale FAA programs.
- Skilled at briefing senior leadership and influencing policy or program decisions.
- Experience implementing process improvements or new technologies to enhance CM efficiency.
- Ability to interpret system requirements and translate them into accurate configuration baselines.
- Proven capability to resolve configuration issues under time-sensitive conditions., * Direct FAA or NAS configuration management experience
- Familiarity with FAA's NAS Configuration Management policies and tools
- Experience with enterprise-level CM tools such as DOORS, ClearCase, or equivalent

Benefits & conditions
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
