Job description

  • Firmware development in the product segment of valve and damper actuators, including control technology and motion control
  • Development of embedded firmware in C++ for constrained devices from pre-development to production launch in an agile release train according to SAFe
  • Verification of created Firmware modules / library components
  • Experience with Docker on Linux, GitLab CI with Docker executors and Kaniko
  • Creation of comprehensive detailed specifications
  • Further development of the drive architecture in cooperation with the hardware, mechanics and architecture teams
  • You will assume responsibility for your own work and use the freedom given to you to achieve the best possible solutions
  • International cooperation with development teams in China and the USA, among others
  • Opportunity to assume additional responsibilities over time based on interest and availability

Requirements

Do you have experience in Python?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * A completed bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification

  • Ideally 2-5 years of practical experience in the field of firmware development as well as knowledge in the realization of industrial or large-scale products
  • Passion for software and an interest in new trends in the field of embedded devices, firmware and IoT
  • Good programming skills in C++ and Python, supported by practical project experience
  • Proven understanding of software architecture foundations
  • We expect high levels of motivation, good communication skills, structured work and determination
  • You view inter-cultural teamwork in a global company as an enrichment
  • Proficient in German and English
