Job description

Kindori is on a mission to make emotional fitness as natural as physical fitness. Our platform helps people build resilience, process emotions, and develop psychological strength through evidence-based tools and practices. We're looking for a skilled app developer who can take ownership of our mobile experience, ensuring it remains stable, innovative, and genuinely helpful for our growing community.

This isn't just a maintenance role. You'll be the technical steward of our app, balancing day-to-day reliability with forward-thinking development. You'll work closely with our team to translate our vision for emotional wellbeing into smooth, intuitive user experiences, manage freelance developers when needed, and keep us at the cutting edge of what's possible in mobile wellness technology., * Maintain and optimize our mobile app for stability, performance, and user experience

  • Develop new features that support emotional fitness goals
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and propose innovations to keep Kindori cutting-edge
  • Manage freelance developers when specialized projects or additional capacity is needed
  • Plan development roadmaps and coordinate with stakeholders across the team

Requirements

Required

  • 2+ years of mobile app development experience (iOS, Android, or cross-platform)
  • Track record of shipping and maintaining consumer-facing apps
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical team members
  • Comfortable managing external developers and coordinating projects
  • German residency required; position is for direct employment only (no freelancers or enrolled students)

Preferred

  • Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices
  • Passion for emotional wellbeing or personal development
