Job description

We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to help shape and build our vision path development platform, the systems that turn long-term product vision into clear, actionable delivery paths.

This is not a role where you simply "receive requirements and code." You'll work closely with product, design, and leadership to influence how ideas evolve into real, scalable solutions. You'll be trusted to make technical decisions, challenge assumptions, and help define what good looks like, both in code and in process.

If you enjoy solving ambiguous problems, care deeply about code quality, and want your work to have visible impact, this role is for you.

What you'll be working on

  • Designing and building core systems that support vision path development, from early concept modelling through to delivery and iteration
  • Translating high-level product and business goals into well-structured, maintainable software solutions
  • Leading technical design discussions and contributing to architectural decisions
  • Improving existing systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability
  • Collaborating with product managers and designers to ensure technical decisions align with user needs
  • Mentoring other developers and raising the overall standard of engineering within the team

Requirements

Do you have experience in Distributed systems?, * Strong experience as a Senior Software Developer, working on complex, production-grade systems

  • A solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design
  • Confidence working with ambiguity and shaping solutions where requirements are still evolving
  • A thoughtful approach to code quality, testing, and documentation
  • Experience collaborating across disciplines, not just within engineering
  • The ability to communicate technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Experience working on platforms or tools that support planning, strategy, or long-term product development
  • Exposure to event-driven or distributed systems
  • Previous involvement in defining technical vision or engineering standards

Benefits & conditions

Why join us

  • You'll have genuine influence over technical direction, not just implementation
  • The problems are meaningful and non-trivial, with room for creativity and ownership
  • We value sustainable engineering practices over short-term fixes
  • A collaborative, respectful team culture where thoughtful debate is encouraged
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and flexible working, with a London base and hybrid setup

Our approach

We care about building software that lasts. That means taking the time to understand the problem, designing with intention, and supporting each other as humans, not just as job titles.

If you're a senior developer who wants to help shape both product vision and technical execution, we'd love to hear from you.
