Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer to work within the Raytheon Assured Position Navigation and Timing Systems team, part of the wider Systems & Products business unit, to produce Digital GPS Anti-Jam Systems and Alternative Navigation Solutions for the military market.

The role will provide support across Raytheon's range of APNT products, providing Systems Engineering expertise across the product lifecycle, from requirements capture, analysis, design through to testing, qualification, and certification activities., * Supporting our flagship and next generation products, this role will provide support to the APNT System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Lead with the development and management of system architecture and requirement.

  • System definition and analysis, generation of technical procedures and reports.
  • Participation in engineering design reviews, generation of bid proposal material, response to customer technical requests, production support and obsolescence management.
  • Undertake development studies and investigation activities involving product performance and interfacing with various internal stakeholders.
  • The role will involve working in a highly technical environment, supporting the team as well as working autonomously.
  • Laboratory work will be involved for product testing. Taking on complex challenges and producing a solution that follows company process in a timely manner is an essential part of the role.
