Job description
Merseyside. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in our Head Office, with the option to work 2 days from home depending on business needs. This role offers the chance to lead design for a suite of business applications, focusing on creating intuitive, high-quality digital solutions for our global team and clients.
Requirements
Do you have experience in UX?, * Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable demonstrating designs to potentially large audiences and senior management.
- User-focused, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, focusing on the points that matter.
- Passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
- Open-minded, explores ideas and enjoys collaborating.
Required Competencies
- Proficiency with Wireframe and Prototyping tools.
- Sound understanding of both web and mobile platforms.
- Excellent understanding of UI & UX design principles and standards.
- Working knowledge of design tools to support documentation.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS is advantageous (not essential).
- Experience using tools such as Asana or Jira is advantageous (not essential).
Required Work Experience
- Experience working in a similar UI/UX role.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Proven track record of evaluating existing applications and proposing optimizations.
- Experience in identifying and troubleshooting UX problems such as responsiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Educated to degree level (high grade) or above (advantageous)
Required Languages
- English (Fluent)
