Job description

Own the technical software development for Design Suite Pro, an engineering design tool through a SAAS model using the latest technology in software design and development. To create, maintain and update this software through its lifespan., * Ability to create clear and concise project briefs and project manage through solutions using external resources ensuring the project is kept on time and in cost.

  • Work very closely with all members of the technical team implementing a continuous improvement plan, and actively suggest ideas that could improve working conditions and/or productivity.
  • Keep abreast of competitors technical offerings, and benchmark best practice.
  • Support marketing of technical data (website content, brochures, seminars, trade shows etc…)
  • Highly competent in creation, maintenance and evolution/expansion of bespoke apps written in C#.
  • Highly competent at mathematics and / or engineering.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems to meet business needs.
  • Create an internal knowledge base of all 'back-end' data for all created or altered software platforms.
  • Ability to research and advise on best software / hardware investments keeping abreast of all of the latest trends and releases to ensure Hadley remain at the cutting edge of what is possible.
  • Develop competence in the creation and development of Tekla components/macros ensuring they are fit for purpose of project life cycle and showing continuous improvement.
  • Develop competence in the creation and development of Revit components/macros ensuring they are fit for purpose of project life cycle and showing continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of various software development life cycle models such as waterfall, agile, scrum etc.
  • Understanding of basic UX and UI design principles.
  • Any other duties within the capability of the job holder.

Requirements

Do you have experience in C#?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * BSc in Computer Science or closely related subject matter.

  • Working cross functionally with different teams.
  • Excellent customer support.
  • Develop competence in fully understand architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Ideally 2 years experience in using C#.
  • Ideally able to understand engineering drawings / equations.
  • Good understanding of Excel & Spreadsheet software., * Do you have an understanding of architectural and engineering drawings?
  • Do you understand engineering drawings / equations?
  • Do you have a basic understand of UX and UI design principles?
  • Do you have any previous experience of developing Tekla or Revit components?
