Application Developer - SC Cleared

• Design, develop, test, and support Java-based business applications
• Provide fourth line application support, including root cause analysis of live incidents and defects
• Assess and implement changes raised through formal change proposals
• Maintain and review High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and component test documentation
• Carry out code reviews and mentor other developers, including offshore teams
• Support test, pilot, migration, and rollout activities across ongoing projects

• Must have an Active SC Clearance
• Three to four years minimum Java development experience
• Strong experience with Maven, XML, SQL, and Java IDEs such as Eclipse
• Experience with version control systems such as Subversion
• Ability to work on large and complex code bases
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with Linux, scripting, Atlassian tools, or modelling tools is beneficial
