Job description
- Design, develop, test, and support Java-based business applications
- Provide fourth line application support, including root cause analysis of live incidents and defects
- Assess and implement changes raised through formal change proposals
- Maintain and review High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and component test documentation
- Carry out code reviews and mentor other developers, including offshore teams
- Support test, pilot, migration, and rollout activities across ongoing projects

Requirements
- Must have an Active SC Clearance
- Three to four years minimum Java development experience
- Strong experience with Maven, XML, SQL, and Java IDEs such as Eclipse
- Experience with version control systems such as Subversion
- Ability to work on large and complex code bases
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Linux, scripting, Atlassian tools, or modelling tools is beneficial
