IT Automation Engineer

Join our internal IT and Systems Operations team and take the lead in automating request fulfillment processes. You will design and implement end-to-end automation solutions, maintain our development infrastructure, and ensure seamless integration across systems. Working closely with stakeholders and your team, you'll contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of our IT operations., * Maintain and operate internal automation development infrastructure, including Jenkins, Git repositories, and middleware components

• Consult with stakeholders and design automation workflows aligned with IT and business requirements
• Develop, maintain, and configure automation interfaces to ensure seamless integration

• Strong experience in IT automation & scripting (PowerShell, Python, and JavaScript)

• Solid technical understanding of IT infrastructure, systems and processes (Windows, Linux, Azure, O365, AD, Monitoring) Hands-on experience working with Git, Jenkins or similar automation tools

• Familiarity with REST APIs, system integrations and relevant IT interfaces

• Experience with AI-based tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) is a plus

• Experience with Microsoft Azure is an advantage

• Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault (Key Management) beneficial

• Good command of English

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade ("Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe") and we offer a minimum salary of € 46,000 gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
