Director Consulting Services - Software & IT Delivery

Then we are looking for you!, As a Director Consulting Services, you will be fully responsible for your clients, your team, and operational activities. Together with your team of around 15 colleagues, you will work to optimize our service delivery. You will lead your team in the development of new services for your clients, recruit new talent, and ensure the professional growth of your team members. You are the central figure in service delivery: a subject matter expert responsible for maintaining and expanding strong relationships with both existing and new clients in software-intensive and digital transformation environments . You will take the lead in business development and ensure the quality, scalability, and reliability of the solutions delivered. You know how to balance your focus between results, engagement, and quality. As a trusted partner for our clients, you and your team work on growing and strengthening CGI's strategic position through software-led transformation initiatives. To stay connected to the field, you will also dedicate 50% of your time to strategic assignments., The role of Director Consulting Services is highly diverse and an exciting challenge for a driven professional who combines strong leadership capabilities with solid software development experience , broad IT knowledge, and a clear view on technology and delivery trends. • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT and Consulting Services , including a strong background in software development
• Solid experience with software engineering practices (Agile/Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD, test automation)
• Strong understanding of modern software architectures (APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, cloud-native platforms)
• Experience leading and scaling software development and delivery teams
• Ability to engage in in-depth technical and business discussions with clients
• Responsible for managing a PNL of €2M to €4M
• Responsible for managing a team of 15 to 20 people
• A strong and high-quality professional network within IT, digital, and technology-driven environments
• Extensive experience in business development , including strategic planning
• A completed Bachelor's and/or Master's degree, preferably in a technical or IT-related field
• Native Dutch or French with excellent communication skills in English
