Job description
- Lead and manage a development team
- Plan and oversee the data migration project
- Resolve defects and issues that arise during the migration process
- Communicate data-related matters effectively with SAP functional teams and business data stewards
- Run data workshops to facilitate understanding and resolution of data issues
- Prepare and review technical documentation related to the migration process
- Analyze source datasets to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Mentor team members and provide assistance as needed, We are seeking a Data Migration Lead for a 6-month Greenfield project transitioning from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA. This position requires on-site work for at least 4 days a week in Reading, and offers a competitive daily rate of £828. We are looking for individuals with DV clearance or those who are clearable, emphasizing the importance of effective communication and a comprehensive understanding of data migration. Requirements
- DV Cleared or clearable, preferably starting with at least SC
- Proven experience in data migration, specifically with SAP S/4HANA
- Deep understanding of the data migration life cycle and full project lifecycle
- Experience managing a development team
- Strong communication skills for all levels of understanding
- Proficiency in running data workshops and preparing technical documentation
- Ability to analyze source datasets
- Mentorship and solution-suggestion skills based on development experience
