Security Engineer - Defence

We are a Defence consultancy located in Farnborough, dedicated to innovative projects in the Defence and Security sector. Our team comprises technology professionals working collaboratively to provide effective security solutions. This role requires onsite work and successful candidates must be security cleared (SC Level). We are looking for a skilled Security Engineer to join us, offering a competitive contract rate of £500 per day.

• Hands-on experience working with SIEM technologies and security monitoring
• Awareness of modern threat models (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and security controls within DevOps environments
• Building and maintaining SOC detections and use cases
• Working knowledge and understanding of MOD security policies and frameworks
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Previous exposure working in a secure environment (Government, Defence or similar)
• Experience using Elastic Security, Nessus or similar
