Business Intelligence Analyst

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

·Collect, analyse, and interpret datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives.

Reporting and Visualization:

·Work with 3rd party BI team to design and develop intuitive and insightful reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.

Data Management and Governance:

·Establish and maintain data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

Strategic Planning and Insights:

·Partner with business leaders to understand their objectives and challenges and provide strategic insights and recommendations.

Experienced Business Intelligence Analyst / BI Analyst sought by insurance sector client to play a crucial role in conceptualising, implementing and managing data-driven processes within the organisation. Proficient in SQL and data visualisation tools (preferably Power BI), the ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics, data visualisation, and business intelligence tools, coupled with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights.

·Proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools (preferably Power BI) such as Tableau, SSRS, Power BI or similar platforms.

·Insurance Industry experience is required, with an understanding of the language and terminology of the insurance domain.

·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.

·Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

·Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure)
