Job description

The role of the Senior Cyber Security Engagement Specialist is to inspire lasting behavioural change and bake security into the culture of our organisation. It's about creating a movement - shaping mindsets, driving cultural change, and building a community of people who understand, value and champion security as part of how they work every day. You'll be the bridge between technical security teams and the wider business, turning complex challenges into relatable, human stories that inspire action. Core responsibilities

  • Designing and delivering engaging security awareness campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences across TfL.

  • Embedding security values into day-to-day business operations and supporting culture change at every level.

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and teams on behavioural change, awareness strategies and effective communication.

  • Using data, feedback, and behavioural insights to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and continuously improve impact.

  • Partnering with technical teams to translate complex cyber risks into simple, compelling narratives.

  • Championing a people-first approach to security and driving new, innovation approaches - leveraging keystone events, tailored role-based training, corporate communications channels and finding creative learning methods/tools., Please apply supplying your CV preferably in ".docx" format. Requirements

Do you have experience in Communication skills?, * Understanding of human behaviour, cultural change and adult learning principles.

  • Awareness of the current cyber security landscape, including common risks, threats and behaviours.

  • Familiarity with communication channels, digital platforms and techniques to engage a diverse teams.

  • Exceptional communication skills - able to craft compelling messages and adapt tone to different audiences.

  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management abilities, able to drive alignment and buy-in across varied groups.

  • Creativity in developing campaigns, training and awareness activities.

  • Analytical thinking - able to use data and feedback to shape our strategic direction and maximise impact within the most risky user-groups.

  • Proven track record in culture, communications, learning & development or cyber security awareness roles.

  • Designed and implemented impactful awareness or change programmes in complex (public sector) organisations.

  • Partnered with senior stakeholders to influence behaviours and embed new ways of working.

  • Delivered measurable results in raising awareness and shifting organisational culture.

Desired qualifications

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience, ideally in science, engineering, technology, computing, cyber security or a related field.

  • Qualifications and certifications from information security bodies such as: GIAC, ISC2, ISACA, and CompTIA., This role requires a minimum of BPSS and CTC security clearance, however the required level of clearance may change. Should an offer of employment be made, continued employment is subject to you obtaining the required level of clearance and maintaining this throughout your employment.
