Job description

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize our CI/CD & data pipelines for applied data science projects (GitLab CI / Docker Compose / Airflow)
  • Ensure smooth integration of developed solutions into Stadler's IT infrastructure
  • Build and maintain interfaces with existing internal tools and systems
  • Support the development of condition monitoring use cases by identifying how to leverage available data for condition monitoring, designing data processing frameworks for real-time monitoring, translating field results into actionable maintenance tasks and documenting and communicating findings internally and externally, * A collegial working environment and collaboration in qualified and passionate teams

To successfully implement these services, various departments such as Production, Project Management, Engineering, and Logistics work closely and effectively together. Additionally, the site hosts important central functions of the Service Division.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software development?, * Degree or proven experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

  • Strong command of Python and SQL (e.g., Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, TimeScaleDB)
  • Proficiency in German and/or English

Beneficial skills:

  • Collaborative software development and version control (e.g., GitLab)
  • CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (GitLab CI, Airlfow)
  • Containerization technologies (e.g., DockerCompose)
  • Embedded systems or hardware-related development
  • Designing informative dashboards (e.g., Streamlit, Grafana, Power BI, Superset)
  • Working in the railway industry or with large, complex assets
  • Applied data science using unlabelled or heterogeneous data sources
  • Project management of complex, cross-functional initiatives
