Job description

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will design and run a scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud platform that empowers our AI, SaaS, and Data teams to ship with confidence.

Your mission is simple but impactful: remove friction for developers, raise platform standards, and make delivery faster, safer, and more enjoyable. You will own critical infrastructure building blocks and play a central role in scaling Vizzia's platform maturity.

️ Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
  • Develop and operate Infrastructure as Code on AWS (primarily CDK).
  • Build and run the observability stack (Datadog, Grafana): metrics, alerts, and meaningful dashboards.
  • Support product teams (AI, SaaS, Data) as a platform partner and enabler.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident management, with actionable postmortems.
  • Contribute to security topics (IAM, RBAC, SSO, dependency scanning).
  • Work on FinOps initiatives: cost visibility, optimization, and performance/budget trade-offs.
  • Actively contribute to the 2026 platform roadmap and deliver key platform components.
  • Propose and drive improvements to the overall platform maturity., * A platform team in construction, with room to shape standards and practices.
  • A pragmatic environment focused on impact, learning, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 3 to 8 years of experience in Cloud / DevOps / SRE roles, ideally in a SaaS or scale-up environment.
  • Strong hands-on AWS expertise (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM) in production.
  • IaC-first mindset (AWS CDK preferred; Terraform/Pulumi accepted with willingness to move to CDK).
  • Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent).
  • Good knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, or similar).
  • Comfortable using Python or TypeScript for automation and tooling.
  • Autonomous, pragmatic, delivery-focused, and continuously improving.
  • Strong communicator with a genuine enabler mindset toward product teams.
  • Interest in FinOps and/or security topics.

Nice to have

  • AWS certifications
  • Experience with FinOps or application security
  • Exposure to media or IoT environments
