Job description
As a Technical Project Manager / Delivery Lead, you will coordinating and delivering technical initiatives for our Payment Gateway. Your focus will include the planning, implementation, and operational readiness of card-present and card-not-present payment solutions across merchant, acquirer, and processor channels.
In this role, you will guide Agile delivery teams throughout the complete delivery lifecycle-from discovery and requirements shaping through development, testing, certification, deployment, and post-release validation. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Compliance, and Operational teams to ensure seamless cross-functional alignment and predictable execution.
You will leverage Jira, Confluence, and AI-assisted delivery and documentation tools to drive transparency, improve speed and quality of artefact creation, and maintain structured and consistent delivery governance.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Payment Gateway projects supporting both card-present and card-not-present transaction flows.
- Own delivery planning, timeline creation, scope alignment, and cross-team dependency coordination.
- Ensure delivery transparency through reporting dashboards, structured communication, and high-quality documentation.
- Partner with Product Owners to manage backlog readiness, support story shaping, and align technical dependencies.
- Coordinate engineering, QA, DevOps, and operational readiness activities to ensure high-quality releases.
- Oversee integration readiness with external partners, networks, and internal platform components.
- Drive alignment during certification, performance validation, release planning, and incident assessment cycles.
- Manage escalations and lead structured decision-making with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance Payment Gateway delivery documentation, leveraging AI-assisted tools to generate, refine, and standardize artefacts.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Jira?, * BS/BA in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field-or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or similar role in payments, fintech, or complex software delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of card-present and card-not-present payment flows, including authorisation, clearing, settlement, and dispute management.
- Solid hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence, including dashboards, reporting, and enterprise documentation structures.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage complex dependencies and distributed teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
What would be great to have
- You have worked before in an agile development environment and you are familiar with the PI Planning process and to are able to understand how to align the development to deliver effective towards a PI and Release
- You have experience in working with a multi locational matrix organisation where technology teams and delivery is done across multiple teams and locations
