Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced Head of Infrastructure to lead the department, working collaboratively with the company's CTO and CEO. This will help scale and improve processes within the infrastructure team., * Build an effective team to support and develop testing and production infrastructure;
- Increase the stability and fault tolerance of the infrastructure (from 99.5% to 99.9% uptime);
- Prepare the existing SaaS platform for an On-Prem setup;
- Develop CI/CD processes.
Responsibilities
- Team Building: Identify key roles within the team and recruit specialists with necessary skills to ensure effective support and development of infrastructureд;
- Infrastructure Stability: Develop strategies to achieve targeted availability levels (99.9%), including resource redundancy and failure testing;
- SaaS Platform Preparation: Assess the current architecture of the SaaS solution and create a migration plan for transitioning to on-premises infrastructure;
- CI/CD Process Development: Implement CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to automate build, test, and deployment processes for applications.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Scripting?, You have:
- Deep knowledge of *nix systems and networking technologies;
- Theoretical knowledge and extensive experience with databases: *SQL - PostgreSQL, MySQL *NoSQL - Elasticsearch
- Experience with KVM virtualization, LXC, and Docker containers;
- Experience in building Kubernetes (k8s) environments;
- Understanding of the principle of "Infrastructure as Code." Experience in creating and maintaining fault-tolerant systems with logging coverage, monitoring, and functioning alerting;
- Proficient in scripting languages (bash/python);
- Knowledge of principles and ability to mitigate vulnerabilities from the OWASP Top 10 list., * Intelligent, scholarly and intellectually curious
- Confident and supports perspectives with logical arguments
- Great analytical skills and structured thinking
