Tasks

• Analyze, design, and implement software for testing machine modules.
• Collaborate throughout the software development process from concept to rollout.
• Develop and implement automated tests for quality assurance., As a Software Engineer Test Systems, you develop and optimize software solutions for state-of-the-art test systems in the semiconductor environment. In doing so, you make a significant contribution to the quality, stability, and performance of our technologies.

Your future work content

• Analysis, design, and implementation of software for the test systems that test individual modules of the machine
• Collaboration throughout the entire software development process - from conception to rollout
• Development and implementation of automated tests (e.g., unit and integration tests) to ensure quality and maintainability
• Verification and debugging of software solutions in the development environment as well as directly on the test systems
• Analysis and correction of errors as well as continuous optimization of software solutions
• Rollout of new software versions on test systems in close cooperation with international locations and suppliers
• 3rd-level support to ensure the availability and usability of the test systems
• Active participation in agile development processes and attendance at Scrum events
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with engineering, production, and quality teams

• Degree in Electrical or Software Engineering or similar qualification.
• Proficient in C#, .NET, WinUI, and XAML with a readiness to learn.
• Strong analytical skills and team-oriented with good communication., * Completed training or further education as an electrical or software engineer (FH/ETH/University or comparable qualification)
• Experience in software development, ideally in the test system or industrial high-tech environment
• Good knowledge of C#, .NET, WinUI, and XAML as well as a strong willingness to learn new technologies
• Knowledge of Python, Git, and CI/CD is an advantage
• Interest in dynamic, precise mechatronic systems
• Analytical and structured way of working as well as high independence
