Job description
- Administer Unix/Linux-based operating systems, including troubleshooting, installation, and setup.
- Maintain compliance with security policies, including patch management and vulnerability remediation.
- Perform backups and recovery using tools such as Netbackup.
- Basic hardware management including racking, card/disk replacements, attaching to network(s), etc.
- Installing third-party software following the instructions provided.
- Document architecture, procedures, and operational guidelines for system administration.
Requirements
Do you have experience in VMware?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Strong expertise in Unix/Linux system administration (RHEL8, RHEL9, or similar).

Strong troubleshooting skills for Unix/Linux systems.

Certifications such as RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) or similar are an advantage.

Working with ticket system for incidents, problems, change management and configuration management.

Strong background in IT (working in IT).

IT related Bachelor or Master's degree is a plus.

Any knowledge of ITIL would be useful.

Ability to shell script would be nice to have.

Knowledge of container technology, especially Rancher, would be nice to have.

VMWare/KVM knowledge would be nice to have.

Knowledge of Windows Server would be beneficial.

The candidate should also be able to speak and write in English.

Security check (Ü2) available or willing to go through the process to acquire it.

Willingness to learn and acquire new skills (including acquiring relevant certifications).
Willingness to work in a rotation system (to cover the service hours) and to work outside working hours (usually one Saturday per month)
