Job description
- Define and design cloud architectures and solution patterns that meet complex business and technical requirements, ensuring scalability, resilience, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Produce high-level and detailed architectural specifications of cloud-based components, tiers, and interfaces using AWS services.
- Lead product and service assessments, evaluating AWS offerings and third-party tools, and provide recommendations aligned with business strategy.
- Drive the creation of proofs of concept (PoCs) to validate approaches and demonstrate feasibility.
- Establish and maintain cloud architecture standards, patterns, and best-practice documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring, guiding teams in design and architecture reviews.
- Partner with business, technology, and infrastructure stakeholders to align architectural decisions with strategic objectives.
- Contribute to cloud migration and modernization strategies, defining target architectures and adoption roadmaps.
- Stay current with AWS advancements and industry trends, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Advocate for cloud-native architectures and promote architectural excellence across teams.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Scalability?, We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect with a strong focus on AWS Cloud to design and guide enterprise-grade cloud solutions. The role emphasizes architecture, solution patterns, product assessments, proofs of concept, and the definition of best practices. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor, influencing technical direction and ensuring architectural consistency across the organization., * 5+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Technical Application Architecture, or related fields.
- Proven track record leading cloud architecture initiatives, preferably on AWS.
- Strong background in solution design across infrastructure, applications, and integration.
- Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus).
Skills & Knowledge
- Expertise in AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience defining enterprise-level architectures, hybrid cloud, and migration strategies.
- Deep understanding of systems design, networking, security, and distributed architectures.
- Strong knowledge of application integration, APIs, and microservices design.
- Experience with event-driven architectures (EDA).
- Understanding and application of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift or equivalents).
- Familiarity with governance, compliance frameworks, and cloud security.
- Experience producing architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical standards.
