What you'll be doing
- Lead, mentor, and develop Team Leaders and support workers, promoting wellbeing and professional growth
- Oversee person-centred care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding protocols, acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required
- Foster a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment where every individual feels valued
- Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, supporting inspections and driving continuous improvement
- Implement robust quality assurance systems and monitor performance to achieve outstanding outcomes
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to deliver value for money and operational excellence
- Champion the voice and rights of adults with learning disabilities, ensuring their views shape the service
- Build strong partnerships with families, carers, external agencies, and health professionals to support holistic care
- Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in every aspect of delivery
Requirements
Do you have experience in Leadership?, * A strong understanding of safeguarding, care planning, and regulatory compliance, including CQC standards
- A person-centred approach that prioritises wellbeing, inclusion, and positive outcomes
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire staff teams
- Excellent communication and partnership-building abilities with families, professionals, and external agencies
- Confidence in managing budgets, resources, and operational systems to ensure efficiency and quality
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and the rights of people with learning disabilities
- Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset to lead through change and drive continuous improvement
- A recognised qualification in nursing, social care, or leadership, and registration with relevant professional bodies (nursing qualification desirable)
