Frontend Engineer

We're hiring a Frontend Engineer to join an AI company developing software for the planning and engineering ecosystem in the UK. The team brings together experts in artificial intelligence and engineering to build systems that help modernise complex regulatory and assessment processes.

As a Frontend Engineer, you'll have ownership over the frontend, working closely with leadership and technical stakeholders to turn complex requirements into clear and usable interfaces., * Designing, building, and refining core user-facing features.

• Turning requirements into production-quality UX flows and UI components.
• Taking ownership of frontend code quality, structure, and maintainability.
• Working closely with product and engineering teams to shape how features are delivered.
• Shipping frequently, measuring impact, and improving through iteration and feedback.
• Ensuring a high standard of performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across the product.

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * 3+ years of experience delivering frontend applications used in production.

• Strong background in building interactive, user-facing web products.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies, particularly React and TypeScript.
• Comfort operating autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience collaborating closely with designers or contributing directly to design work using tools such as Figma.
• Experience setting up and maintaining frontend build CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with automated testing approaches, including unit and end-to-end tests.
