Job description

This role exists to own, shape, and evolve Venn's core Operations and Business Support Systems that underpin how we operate and deliver connectivity services globally.

These platforms enable provisioning, billing, automation, monitoring, partner integration, and internal operations across multiple countries and teams. They are business-critical, already in use, and central to our ability to scale reliably and profitably.

As Product Manager, you will own the day-to-day product direction and long-term roadmap, working closely with engineering, operations, commercial teams, and leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring the platform continues to meet today's operational needs while evolving to support future growth, complexity, and automation.

This is a hands-on product leadership role focused on product direction rather than people management. Operating in a distributed, international environment, the role shapes and drives the evolution of Venn's products by working closely with engineers and stakeholders across multiple time zones and coordinating input from teams across Venn's departments and regions. he Venn products in collaboration with resources from other Venn departments and regions.

Product ownership and strategic vision

You will own and drive the long-term product strategy for Venn's core internal platforms, ensuring they remain aligned with business priorities, operational reality, and future scale.

Your work will ensure the platform:

  • Supports global operations across regions, partners, and customers
  • Scales cleanly as volumes, automation, and integrations increase
  • Reduces operational friction through better workflows and tooling
  • Enables faster, safer delivery of new services and capabilities

You will balance short-term delivery pressures with long-term architectural and product coherence, ensuring the multiple platforms evolve deliberately rather than reactively.

Stakeholder collaboration

You will build strong, trusted relationships across the business, including:

  • Engineering and DevOps
  • Network operations and service delivery
  • Commercial, finance, and leadership teams
  • External partners where platform integration is required

You will act as the single point of accountability for product direction, translating operational pain points and business needs into clear, prioritised product initiatives. You will be expected to challenge assumptions, clarify trade-offs, and keep teams aligned around shared outcomes.

Product delivery and execution

You will lead the full product lifecycle, including:

  • Discovery and problem definition
  • Requirements shaping and prioritisation
  • Delivery planning and execution with engineering teams (internal & external),
  • Preparation, Planning and Project Management with DevOps and service operations team
  • Launch, adoption, and iteration
  • Ongoing reporting, optimisation and refinement (issue management), including recommendations for internal systems & process improvements.

You will work closely with internal and outsourced engineering teams to ensure solutions are technically sound, scalable, and pragmatic, with a clear understanding of system constraints, dependencies, and trade-offs.

This role requires comfort operating close to technical detail, without being a delivery manager or architect.

Prioritisation, alignment, and outcomes

You will define and maintain a clear product roadmap informed by:

  • Business impact and operational efficiency
  • Customer and internal user needs
  • Data, metrics, and real-world feedback
  • Engineering effort and technical risk

You will use structured prioritisation approaches and measurable outcomes to ensure work delivers tangible value. Success will be measured not by output, but by improvements in reliability, efficiency, scalability, and user experience.

Operating in a global environment

Venn is an international business with distributed teams. You will be comfortable:

  • Working across time zones and cultures
  • Operating asynchronously where required
  • Driving progress without perfect information
  • Making decisions in complex, evolving environments

You will bring structure and calm to complexity, enabling teams to move faster with greater confidence.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System architecture?, You will likely have:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS, platform, or technology-led environment
  • Proven experience owning and evolving complex, multi-user systems already in production
  • Strong experience working closely with engineering teams on technically complex products
  • The ability to understand system architecture, data flows, APIs, and operational constraints
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for different audiences
  • A pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset - you value progress over process, but not at the expense of quality

Nice to have

  • Experience with OSS / BSS internal tooling, or other operations platforms
  • Exposure to telecoms, networking, infrastructure, or global service delivery
  • Experience working with distributed or international engineering teams
  • Familiarity with automation-heavy or integration-heavy platforms
  • French, German, Portuguese Language Skills
