Job description
As a Senior Platform Engineer in our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) team, you'll be part of our Infrastructure Services team-leading the charge to scale our global platform, eliminate legacy systems, and unlock a new level of engineering velocity.

What you'll do
- Design and build highly available, automated cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD best practices
- Contribute to the modernization of core platform services, removing legacy dependencies and improving developer productivity
- Improve observability, reliability, and security across our systems using tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Collaborate with teams to support safe, frequent deployments and deliver scalable solutions to complex problems
- Drive the adoption of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code principles across the organization
- Mentor and support engineers in best practices, architecture, and infrastructure decision-making

Requirements
- Proven deep platform or infrastructure engineering experience (GCP required)
- Strong skills in IaC (Terraform) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or similar)
- Understanding of cloud security, observability, and cost efficiency
- A collaborative mindset and drive for continuous improvement
