Job description

  • Taking functional ownership of the operation, enhancement, and continuous development of the SAP SD and CS modules within an established ECC landscape, including second-level support
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to analyze new requirements, evaluate change requests, and translate business needs into sustainable solution concepts
  • End-to-end responsibility for sales-related process chains, from quotation through invoicing and payment
  • Supporting and optimizing service-related workflows such as repairs, service orders, warranties, and contract management
  • Coordinating and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules as well as connected third-party applications
  • Creating and reviewing functional specifications for system enhancements, reports, and interfaces in cooperation with development teams
  • Planning and executing unit, integration, and user acceptance tests together with key users
  • Supporting system rollouts, delivering user trainings, and maintaining high-quality documentation
  • Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across processes and systems

Requirements

  • Completed degree or comparable qualification with a focus on IT, business informatics, or business administration
  • Several years of professional experience in SAP SD, ideally complemented by hands-on exposure to SAP CS
  • Strong expertise in designing and supporting sales and service-oriented business processes
  • Solid experience in incident and change management within complex SAP environments
  • Good understanding of integrated SAP process landscapes, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering-driven context
  • Willingness and ability to familiarize yourself with highly customized SAP solutions
  • Experience working with adjacent SAP modules such as MM, FI/CO, PP, or WM
  • Practical experience integrating and monitoring external systems and interfaces
  • Very good command of English and German, both written and spoken
