Azure Platform Engineer

As an Azure Platform Engineer in the Global Analytics Platform area, you'll be at the forefront of shaping and maintaining a cutting-edge analytics platform. Your work will make data accessible, actionable, and impactful for stakeholders across the organization. Here's what you'll be doing, * Strategic Design: Architect scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions using Azure Databricks and other Azure services.

• Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to understand their goals and translate them into innovative, practical technical solutions.
• Integration: Ensure seamless data integration across systems and optimize workflows for performance and efficiency.
• Automation: Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to automate deployments and manage infrastructure.
• Performance Excellence: Monitor and tune databases and data pipelines for optimal performance and resource utilization.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends and Azure technologies, continuously enhancing the platform's capabilities.

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Azure Databricks and data architecture, with Python experience as a bonus.
• Skills: Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
• Knowledge: Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying and managing data services.
• Mindset: A proactive learner with excellent problem-solving skills and a team-first attitude.
• Microsoft Azure certifications or equivalent.
