Job description
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be the backbone of our AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and driving innovation.
Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize AWS services including CloudFormation, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, and AWS Backup.
Innovation & Automation: Automate business processes using AWS tools and AI, while challenging conventional ideas through PaaS and Serverless solutions.
Problem Solving: Resolve complex customer issues via ServiceNow and conduct root cause analysis to reduce future incidents.
Cost & Performance: Manage infrastructure costs, oversee platform maintenance (patching/upgrades), and support contact center services via AWS Connect.
Resilience: Lead disaster recovery (DR) testing and participate in on-call arrangements to ensure 24/7 business continuity.
Requirements
Essential Experience
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience/relevant technical certifications).
AWS Proficiency: A solid understanding of AWS Cloud services (CloudFormation, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB) and core networking (Direct Connect, VPNs, WAFs, VPCs).
Windows Server Expertise: 18+ months of experience supporting Windows Server 2016+ environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
Automation Mindset: Proven experience with scripting (PowerShell/Python) and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Soft Skills: Strong diagnostic abilities, excellent customer-facing skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
