Backend Developer

We have an exciting Lead Backend development position available starting immediately. Contribute to revolutionizing international railway ticketing! At xatellite, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills with modern technologies, take ownership of your work, and actively contribute to shaping our open-source products.

Who we're looking for: You're a good fit if you're interested in international rail transport and ideally have some experience with our technologies or in project management. You will be an active part of the development, coordinating your work independently with the team, and taking ownership in the development process. Interest in the whole stack is appreciated.

Current projects:

• Developing an open-source ticketing system (OpenTrainTicketing)
• Researching and evaluating technical standards for public transport integration

Our Tech Stack: rust (Axum+Diesel), PostgreSQL, GRPC/OpenApi, Kubernetes (ArgoCD, Gitlab CI/CD). In Frontend: VueJs (Typescript, Vue3, Nuxt3)

40h/week at €20-24/hour (€3,480 - 4,176/month), initially limited to one year
