Tasks
- Design, implement, and maintain diagnostic systems for rail vehicles.
- Conduct initial commissioning and validate software on-site.
- Collaborate on new developments and enhance existing systems., * Design, specification, implementation, testing, and maintenance of diagnostic, visualization, and remote communication systems for rail vehicles
- Carrying out initial commissioning and software validation directly on the vehicle
- Participation in new developments as well as further development of existing systems
- Preparation of technical documentation for customers and authorities
- Support for sales as well as product and project management
Requirements
- Degree in computer science or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in object-oriented programming is essential.
- Knowledge of Linux, GUI development, and IT security is a plus., * Completed studies (FH/University) in computer science, application development, or a comparable field
- Alternatively: Completed vocational training as an IT specialist EFZ in application development with corresponding professional experience
- Several years of experience in object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of Linux, GUI development, Ethernet networks, and IT security is an advantage
- Enjoyment of a dynamic, project-oriented way of working
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Willingness to travel about 20%
