Application Developer - Java/Angular/HTML5/SQL/SAFe/Docker/Kubernetes

For our client, a renowned company in the finance/insurance sector, we are looking for an experienced application developer with proven Java and Angular expertise. In an agile SAFe environment, you will develop and maintain modern web applications and business services and actively participate in the technological advancement of the application landscape.

Your future tasks:

• Developing and maintaining software applications based on technical and operational requirements

• Analyzing business processes, transactions, data structures, and functions

• Analyzing the technical environment (workplace, target systems/platforms, organizational framework conditions)

• Defining functional and non-functional requirements (availability, security, performance)

• Creating data, function, and/or object models

• Selecting and applying suitable methods, techniques, standards, guidelines, and tools for development and maintenance

• Developing and maintaining applications, components, modules, and interfaces to databases and other systems

• Ensuring the implementation and sustainable maintenance of solutions

• Setting up and maintaining development and test environments

• Collaborating on integration tests and implementation

• Creating and updating technical documentation (models, interface descriptions, test procedures, user manuals, etc.)

• Analyzing and fixing software errors in productive systems

• Implementing change requests

• Designing and implementing optimizations throughout the entire application lifecycle

Do you have experience in Software development?, * At least 5 years of experience in software development, including several years in complex application landscapes

• Several years of experience in developing web applications with Angular (2+) and in-depth knowledge of AngularJS

• Very good programming skills in Java

• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes

• Good knowledge of HTML5 and SQL

• Confident use of Jira

• Very good knowledge of application engineering and experience working with modern software architectures

• Knowledge of data management/data engineering

• Experience with agile methods, ideally in the SAFe environment

• Strong analytical skills and a structured and solution-oriented approach to work

• Ability to work independently and confidently handle complex issues

• Several years of professional experience in the insurance, finance, or banking industry

• Very good written and spoken German
