ICT System Engineer Linux

Join our team at RUAG for an exciting role in IT! Contribute to the security of Switzerland while working in a dynamic environment., * Creation and further development of concepts for operating a mixed Windows, Linux environment with server and client systems

• Selection of hardware and system software as well as network and control components
• Design and optimization of the productive operation of IT systems (including data backup, recovery/restart) and the internal server infrastructure (Windows and Linux)
• Analyzing malfunctions and error conditions
• Initiating and monitoring measures to resolve them
• Controlling and monitoring system loads
• Support in operational operations (system administration)
• Participation in IT projects
