Job description
Elara seeks a skilled and detail-oriented Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team in Berlin. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our SaaS app across frontend and backend, playing an important role in building reliable, scalable, and user-friendly applications., You will work in a small team to deliver features end-to-end, with a strong focus on functional and intuitive user interfaces. As a Fullstack Developer at Elara, you are encouraged to bring your technical expertise, ideas, and ownership mindset to the table, helping ensure our products meet real customer and operational needs., * Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end features across frontend and backend
- Build and evolve user-facing interfaces, backend services, and data models
- Collaborate closely with Operations to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across the entire application stack
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
- Take ownership of features from concept through deployment and production support
- Develop solutions with a strong customer and operational focus, * Online Interview and Skills Assessment: If you meet the criteria, you will be invited to an online interview and skills assessment with our CTO and a senior developer. The session will include a short coding challenge focused on real-world scenarios relevant to the role.
- On-Site Meeting: In the final stage, you will be invited for an on-site meeting with the founding team.
- Final Decision: We will inform you of our decision within two weeks.
Requirements
Do you have experience in TypeScript?, 3-5 years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Next.js) and backend technologies (e.g. Node.js or similar)
- Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling
- Experience working across the full software development lifecycle
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced SaaS environment
Desired Skills and Competencies
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and basic DevOps practices
- Prior experience with scalable SaaS or B2B products
- Interest in or contributions to open-source projects
- Strong sense of ownership and curiosity to explore new technologies
- Openness to feedback and a continuous learning attitude
