Job description
- Work in a Scrum team to develop a Python-based automation layer for rapid provisioning of training and demo landscapes on GCP.
- Implement automation that triggers activities across GCP, BTP, SCP, and additional infrastructure tools.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to connect infrastructure components and manage inventory data.
- Integrate monitoring, configuration management, reporting, and other architectural components into the automation layer.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to design scalable and reliable automation solutions.
- Apply test-driven development and modern CI/CD practices using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Jira.
- Contribute to containerization efforts, including Docker and/or Kubernetes, to support scalable deployments.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * 4+ years of professional experience in Python development and software architecture.
- Strong experience with Scrum, CI/CD tools (Jenkins), GitHub, Jira, and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Skilled in building and consuming RESTful APIs and applying test-driven development principles.
- Customer-focused mindset with experience working in large-scale environments.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- (Optional) Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, especially Google Compute Engine.
- Understanding of networks, applications (including third-party and SAP), databases, and operating systems (Linux & Windows), with the willingness to deepen expertise in these areas.
- Bonus: Experience with additional programming languages such as YAQL, Jinja, or TypeScript.
- Completed technical education (Bachelors or Masters) in computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, or another scientific/technical field.
