Front End Developer - Angular, TypeScript, AWS

Applause IT are recruiting for a Frontend Developer to join a growing UK-based technology business building a large-scale, customer-facing SaaS platform.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys modern frontend development, working closely with backend engineers and product teams, and shipping features that are used at real scale.

You'll be joining a well-established Agile engineering team, working primarily with Angular and TypeScript, contributing to a high-traffic web application used by thousands of customers.

The role

You'll be focused on building, improving and evolving a modern web application, including:

• Developing responsive, user-facing features using Angular and TypeScript
• Designing and delivering new functionality end to end
• Maintaining and improving existing frontend components
• Collaborating closely with backend engineers to shape APIs
• Producing mock-ups and prototypes where needed
• Contributing to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement
• Taking ownership of features and seeing them through to production

Do you have experience in UX?, We're looking for a solid mid-level Frontend Developer, with:

• Commercial experience using Angular and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of modern frontend development practices
• Experience working on customer-facing web applications
• Comfortable working in an Agile team environment
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• A desire to keep learning and improving your craft

Nice to have (but not essential):

• Exposure to AWS environments
• Experience working on SaaS or high-traffic platforms
• UI/UX awareness or experience producing prototypes

• Hybrid role - minimum 3 days per week onsite
