Job description
We are seeking a Senior AI & Data Platform Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy AI-enabled applications and data engineering solutions on AWS. The role requires strong hands-on experience across AI solution development, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD automation, with a focus on security, scalability, and governance.
You will work closely with AWS team and customer team to deliver robust non-production environments, reusable codebases, and enterprise-grade tooling integrations.
Key Responsibilities
AI Application & Platform Development
Ø Design, build, test, and deploy AI-enabled applications aligned to Proof of Concept (PoC) baseline capabilities.
Ø Implement solutions using the agreed technology stack to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Ø Configure and manage AI knowledge bases where required.
Ø Develop and execute unit, integration, user acceptance, and non-functional tests.
Ø Implement security guardrails and response validation for AI solutions.
Ø Prepare documentation for the design and deliver to customer team for approval.
Data Engineering
Ø Create system-readable documents derived from AI mapping outputs.
Ø Extract data from CSV and other structured sources and load into validation and target tools.
Ø Define and enforce data quality rules, lineage tracking, and governance standards.
Ø Ensure data processing accuracy, performance, and scalability.
Ø Design and maintain data models, mappings, and transformation logic.
Collaboration & Delivery
Ø Work closely with AWS teams and customer stakeholders to support solution implementation.
Ø Contribute to shared AI agent codebases and reusable engineering assets.
Ø Support the development of test cases and validation frameworks across AI and data solutions.
Requirements
Technical Skills
Ø Strong experience in AI/ML-enabled application development and deployment.
Ø Hands-on data engineering experience (ETL/ELT, data modeling, transformations).
Ø Proficiency with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
Ø Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, UAT, and non-functional testing.
Ø Experience implementing security guardrails and governance controls., * AI/ML: 7 years (required)
