SAP Technology Lead (Platform & Integrations)

• This role is essential to maintaining momentum across the Supply Chain Transformation (SCT) programme, where rapid onboarding of SAP Tech Leads is critical to delivering at pace and avoiding programme delays.
• With Ana Woodrow now in place as Head of Engineering and Unipart confirmed as our technology partner, you will help establish the platform leadership needed to underpin Centrica's next-generation supply chain architecture.
• You will own the SAP platform services and integration foundations-defining integration patterns, platform standards, identity and authorisation models, observability practices and release/transport governance across the supply chain landscape.
• You will help the programme meet its ambitious delivery timelines by providing strong early leadership to shape a scalable, secure and resilient platform from the outset.
• You will build internal platform and integration capability from day one, supporting the transition from partner-led delivery to long-term internal ownership and continual improvement.
• You will collaborate closely with operational SMEs, technical squads from Unipart and The Config Team (TCT), and cross-functional teams to ensure fast decision-making and consistent, high-quality technical delivery.
• You will ensure seamless interoperability between the Supply Chain platform and all connected systems-including Corporate S/4HANA (Procurement and Finance) and the Field Platform-while providing clear technical ownership that reduces partner dependency and prevents rework later in the programme.

Do you have experience in SAP S/4HANA?, * Hands-on expertise with SAP BTP and Integration Suite (CPI), along with solid knowledge of SAP Security/Authorisations and platform tools such as SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager or ChaRM.

• Proven ability to design and deliver integration patterns, platform standards and technical guardrails that support stable, scalable and secure SAP landscapes.
• Strong understanding of observability, logging, monitoring and performance tuning, ensuring the platform is not just running-it's running smart.
• Experience working in Agile engineering squads with exposure to SAP-focused CI/CD enablement and modern delivery practices.
• Demonstrated capability in governing releases and transports across complex SAP environments, keeping change safe, structured and well-controlled.
