Contract Automation Test Lead - SC Cleared

An experienced Automation Test Lead is required to take ownership of automation testing strategy and delivery within a large, complex enterprise environment. You'll act as the subject matter expert for test automation, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the SDLC while driving the evolution of automation practices.

This role sits within a manufacturing, automation and life sciences environment, so experience testing enterprise platforms such as SAP / SAP S4 Hana is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective automation test strategies aligned with business objectives
• Create, adapt and maintain scalable automation frameworks
• Act as the automation SME using Tricentis Tosca
• Collaborate closely with developers, testers, analysts and architects to embed quality across delivery
• Provide strong stakeholder engagement and clear communication at all levels
• Contribute to continuous improvement of automation testing practices

• Expert-level experience with Tricentis Tosca
• Strong experience with Playwright
• Experience with at least one OOP language (Java or C#)
• Hands-on functional and automation testing across web, API and ERP platforms
• Experience testing SAP / SAP S4 Hana environments (highly desirable)
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira)
• Experience with continuous testing and test optimisation
• ISTQB Foundation certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic mindset with the ability to align testing activity to business goals
