You will support the sale and enablement of a multi-vendor cybersecurity portfolio, covering areas such as:
- Endpoint, network and cloud security
- Identity and access security
- Email and user protection
- Monitoring, analytics and threat detection
- Managed and co-managed security services
This suite enables UK VARs and Resellers to deliver comprehensive, commercially viable cybersecurity solutions to their customers., As a Security Sales Executive, you will:
- Support senior sales professionals across the CyberVAD team
- Engage with UK VARs and Resellers
- Contribute to pipeline building and opportunity qualification
- Assist with partner onboarding and enablement
- Develop the skills to ultimately own your own vendor portfolio
This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is eager to learn, develop, and grow within a fast-paced, high-performing cybersecurity distribution team., Sales Support & Team Enablement (Primary)
- Support senior team members with partner follow-ups, quoting, opportunity tracking and sales administration.
- Assist with preparing sales materials, presentations and partner documentation.
- Help maintain CRM accuracy, ensuring data, opportunities and activities are up to date.
- Participate in team meetings, pipeline reviews and planning sessions.
Partner Engagement - VAR & Reseller Channel
- Assist in engaging with UK VAR and Reseller partners, including outreach and follow-up communications.
- Support partner onboarding activities, such as sharing documentation, resources and introductory materials.
- Help coordinate partner meetings, virtual sessions, training and enablement events.
- Build early-stage relationships with partner sales teams to support adoption of the cybersecurity portfolio.
Business Development & Pipeline Generation
- Conduct outbound activities (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to identify new VAR and Reseller prospects.
- Qualify inbound interest and route opportunities to senior team members.
- Support campaigns designed to generate demand for cybersecurity products.
- Contribute to the early stages of the sales cycle by booking meetings and gathering information from partners.
Go-to-Market & Vendor Collaboration (Junior-Level Participation)
- Work closely with internal teams and Vendor Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) or Distribution Managers under supervision.
- Support coordinated outreach and partner communication plans.
- Participate in joint planning sessions and pipeline/activity updates where appropriate.
- Share insights, partner feedback and activity updates with senior sales leads.
Development Into Portfolio Ownership (Progressive Growth Path)
As knowledge and capability grow, the role will gradually expand to include:
- Ownership of a small set of vendors
- Independent pipeline management
- Growing reseller revenue across the security portfolio
- Taking responsibility for forecasting and reporting
- Leading introductory meetings and product conversations, * Strong support provided to senior sales leads.
- High-quality, accurate CRM and sales admin processes.
- Growing engagement with VAR and Reseller partners.
- Demonstrated development in outbound prospecting ability.
- Clear progression toward owning a small partner portfolio.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Sales?, * Ideally 6 months or more experience in a sales, customer-facing or commercial role (technology sales preferred but not required).
- Experience working with VARs/Resellers or within distribution is beneficial but not essential.
- A strong interest in cybersecurity and the channel ecosystem.

Knowledge (Nice to Have)
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
- Awareness of the UK reseller ecosystem.
