Job description

- Take full technical ownership of PD Deliver, a mission critical platform that automates ingestion, filtering, and delivery of high value unstructured financial data (news and filings)Deliver critical platform that automates ingestion, filtering, and delivery of high value unstructured financial data (news and filings)
- Ensure continuity, stability, and performance of the platform while leading its modernization and architectural evolution
- Partner closely with business users (e.g., M&A, cross border investment, ratings, and filings teams) to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions border investment, ratings, and filings teams) to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions
- Design, maintain, and evolve real-time data pipelines and streaming workflows, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and low latency time data pipelines
- Refactor and rebuild legacy components as needed, improving maintainability, reliability, and extensibility
- Lead infrastructure assessment and cloud migration planning, including dependency untangling, risk mitigation, and phased execution
- Integrate machine learning and generative AI capabilities to enhance filtering, clustering, enrichment, and content relevance
- Build and maintain feedback mechanisms that continuously improve model performance based on user interaction
- Ensure high availability, redundancy, monitoring, and failover for a business-critical production system critical production system
- Produce clear technical documentation and architectural artifacts to prevent knowledge silos and support long-term sustainability term sustainability
- Act as a technical leader and mentor, supporting junior engineers and collaborating across distributed teams
- Autonomy: Operate with a high degree of independence as a senior individual contributor, owning design, implementation, and delivery decisions.

The Data Estate Enrichment team is responsible for transforming largescale unstructured data into trusted, actionable insights across Moody's. The team combines advanced software engineering, data pipelines, and AI/ML techniques to enrich and distribute content used by hundreds of internal stakeholders globally. Requirements
Do you have experience in Python?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Senior-level software engineering expertise in distributed, streaming, and data-intensive systems
- Strong hands-on experience with production-critical platforms, including system ownership and modernization
- Proficiency in C/C++ for legacy systems and Python (or similar) for modern service development
- Deep understanding of real-time data pipelines, event streaming, and workflow automation
- Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS strongly preferred; GCP experience beneficial)
- Strong architectural judgment, stakeholder communication skills, and end-to-end ownership mindset, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Advanced degree preferred but not required.
