Senior Cyber Security Analyst Vancouver

• Monitoring and analysis of security events using SIEM, EDR, and NIDS platforms to detect, analyze, and respond to cyber threats
• Incident Response and Forensics: Performing event triage, in-depth analysis, and incident response in line with established cyber defense processes and industry frameworks
• Threat Intelligence and Prevention: Leveraging cyber threat intelligence and proactive security tools to continuously improve the overall security posture
• Vulnerability Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities across the IT infrastructure

Do you have experience in Analysis skills?, * Education and Certifications: Completed education in computer science or a related field, along with relevant cyber security certifications or advanced training (e.g. SANS/GIAC, OSCP)

• Professional Experience: Several years of hands-on experience working with SIEM solutions and other core SOC tools, combined with broad exposure to security operations
• Analytical Skills: Strong curiosity and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and respond to complex cyber threats
• Flexibility: Interest in working with our team in Vancouver to support 24/7 operations, as well as willingness to spend up to one month per year working in Switzerland to foster team collaboration and exchange
• Language Skills: Fluency in English both written and spoken - German is an advantage
