Senior Load Calculation & Multi-Body Simulation Engineer

You work on the structural and aeroelastic behaviour of our wind turbines and shape the stability and robustness of future platforms. In this senior role, you collaborate closely with load calculation, control engineering, and component experts. Your work ensures reliable turbine performance from concept to operation., * Build, calibrate, and maintain high-fidelity Multi-Body-Simulation models for complete wind turbines including structure, aerodynamics, drivetrain, tower, blades, and controls

• Create and apply linearized models for resonance identification and for estimator and control design
• Lead stability and resonance assessments for operating and parked states including stall-induced and vortex-induced vibrations
• Perform modal analysis, flutter and divergence checks, and system-level robustness studies under uncertainty and environmental variability
• Develop, improve, and maintain analysis software and modelling frameworks in Python and C#
• Collaborate with internal experts to ensure consistent simulation approaches and model quality
• Support design decisions with clear technical evaluations based on MBS and aeroelastic simulation results

Do you have experience in Wind turbine?, * Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, or equivalent

• 8+ years of experience in Multi-Body-Simulation for wind turbines or comparable complex structures
• Solid experience with Flex5, HAWCStab2, Alaska, Simpack, or similar simulation tools
• Strong skills in Python and C# for modelling and analysis workflows
• Deep understanding of aeroelasticity, structural dynamics, stability, and resonance phenomena
• Ability to work reliably with uncertainties, environmental variability, and system-level interactions
• Good English skills; German or Spanish skills preferred; willingness to travel occasionally
