Job description
- Deployment, administration, support, and maintenance of middleware platforms enabling communication between applications across diverse systems are part of your role
- Responsibility for installation, configuration, testing, and ongoing operation of application servers (Red Hat JBoss, Apache Tomcat) and message queue environments is assumed
- System changes are assessed, appropriate actions identified, and implementation recommendations provided
- Troubleshooting, monitoring, security patching, and change implementation across all application layers are carried out regularly
- TLS certificates in key stores and trust stores are managed and maintained
- Close collaboration with application support teams and developers is ensured, including on-call support when required
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tomcat?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- More than five years of experience with application servers (e.g., Red Hat JBoss EAP, Apache Tomcat) and messaging systems (e.g., IBM MQ, Aurea SonicMQ)
- In-depth knowledge of middleware software in enterprise environments and strong Linux administration skills
- Solid understanding of programming (especially Java), scripting, and database technologies
- Proficiency in ServiceNow and strong troubleshooting capabilities for complex technical issues
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Good written and spoken German and English language skills
