Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain data models (e.g., in dbt) that align with the overall data architecture and business requirements.
  • Manage data pipelines end-to-end, from data extraction to transformation and loading, to provide timely and correct data for analysis.
  • Utilize complex SQL queries and macros to transform data efficiently, optimizing queries for performance as needed.
  • Incorporate data quality checks and cleansing routines to ensure datasets are reliable and accurate.
  • Work closely with data analysts and other analytics engineers to ensure consistency and accuracy in metrics and definitions across the team.
  • Contribute to team processes by occasionally leading portions of meetings or sharing improvements to analytics workflows.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tableau?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics).

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar data analytics engineering or BI development role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling tools (such as dbt) and data warehousing concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with business intelligence platforms (e.g., building dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or similar).
  • Basic programming skills in Python or a similar language for data processing and automation.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple data projects, troubleshoot data issues, and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
