The role has high potential growth that has opportunity to work with Sr. Engineering leadership (PE, Sr. SDE and Sr. Managers) across AB, consumer Prime and Marketing.

The scope of the work spreads across multiple portfolio of products and services. It gives opportunity to get broader knowledge and experience of Amazon (buying experience, seller experience, Customer Acquisition, Account Management etc.).

Proactively identify and resolve technical risks and issues that may impair the team´s ability to meet strategic or technical goals.
Requirements
We are looking for a Software Development Manager who will be highly quantitative, have great judgment and passion for building a great customer experience, be inventive, and have a strong track record of delivery. You also have a pragmatic approach and iterative approach to building software: you have an ability to simplify and get things done with a demonstrated track record of building and delivering software and working effectively with external and internal teams. The expansion plan has opportunity to work with different AB teams which will give you broad exposure to AB along with career growth., Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations

Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy

Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
