Job description
We are seeking a Lead Java Developer (Technology Lead) to drive the successful delivery of complex software solutions while leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams.
In this role, you will combine strong hands-on Java expertise with team leadership responsibilities. You will oversee feature delivery, provide architectural and technical guidance, and ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with client objectives.
This position requires both technical depth and the ability to operate effectively in client-facing, consulting-driven environments., Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Lead a cross-disciplinary team responsible for feature development and solution delivery
- Provide technical expertise and architectural guidance aligned with project objectives
- Ensure high-quality implementation of Java / Spring Boot solutions
- Apply enterprise design patterns and application frameworks in custom development projects
- Oversee adherence to SDLC best practices and delivery standards
- Support internal technology initiatives and innovation efforts
Project & Client Engagement
- Manage small to medium client projects or lead workstreams within larger engagements
- Translate client requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure deliverables meet scope, timeline, and quality expectations
Process & Practice Development
- Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to structure and guide delivery
- Contribute to internal initiatives and practice development
- Mentor and guide less experienced consultants and developers
- Promote engineering standards, reusable patterns, and architectural best practices
Requirements
Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Minimum 7 years of experience in Java (Spring Boot) design and development
- Minimum 5 years of experience implementing SDLC best practices and enterprise design patterns in Java projects
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong experience leading technical teams or workstreams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- Consulting background with a proven track record of delivering solutions within defined timelines highly desirable
Nice to Have
- Experience in the big data analytics domain
- Exposure to Hadoop or related technologies, * Java Development: 7 years (required)
- Agile / Scrum: 3 years (required)
