Job description
We are building a new department at CPM and are looking for a forward-,thinking senior level Back End Developer to play a key role in the continued development, refinement, and scaling of our SaaS products that enhance the performance, efficiency and serviceability of industrial equipment. You'll work closely with the Digital Products Team and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable and well-documented software. Your focus will be on back-end development and deployment of the applications. This department is pivotal in the digital transformation across our product lines, integrating IoT, predictive analytics and AI/ML and remote monitoring capabilities to deliver smarter, connected equipment solutions., * Continuing development of our SaaS application
- Refactor and polish existing code to improve performance, usability and maintainability
- Implement new features based on product roadmap and customer feedback
- Write and maintain unit tests and technical documentation
- Collaborate with other developers and teams
- Responsible for the infrastructure, during the initial phase
- Support customer technical issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of professional experience as a SW / back end developer
- Proficient in Java (Spring), SQL, Docker
- Experience in Terraform
- Experience in AWS
- Experience with REST APIs, unit testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong communication and documentation habits
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus, * Experience with industrial software, IoT, or edge-device integration
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, Google Analytics, or similar would be considered a plus.
- Other programming languages are a plus
