Job description
Working as part of an ever expanding Company, the successful applicant will be providing IT maintenance & technical support to Primary Schools around the North West. The successful applicant will be providing 1st & 2nd line support to his/her contracted Schools and will be the face of the company in these Schools.
Essential Skills:
- To provide IT Technical Support to School Networks.
- Installation, configuration & maintenance of School IT resources including:-
- Desktops, Laptops, iPads, Servers, (Both windows and OSX operating systems) Software and Peripherals.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to staff and students, addressing IT-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware problems, ensuring minimal disruption to educational activities.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of computer networks and systems, including Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and help desk support.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance IT services and resolve complex technical challenges.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Open to existing IT Technicians working both within education or industry. However educational experience is desirable., * Good academic qualifications relevant to the post.
- Evidence of further study preferably with a higher qualification.
- Appropriate qualifications relevant to the post., * Well developed oral & written communication & presentation skills
- Have a current knowledge of Child Protection, Safeguarding procedures. (training provided)
Essential: The successful applicant will be required to hold an Enhanced CRB Disclosure., * A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 2 years (required)
- IT Support: 2 years (required)

Working pattern: This is a full time position. Holidays are 20 days + Bank Holidays and Company shut down between Christmas & New Year
Vacancy status: This is a Permanent Full Time Vacancy for the right applicant, following a 6 month probationary period., Range £25,000 to £27,500 + Expenses, Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
