Job description
- Work with Synergis (Access Control) and Omnicast (Video Management/CCTV)
- Service, maintain, and upgrade intruder alarm systems
- Install and support IP and analogue CCTV systems
- Work on door entry and intercom systems (audio and video)
- Integrate open-platform security devices using industry-standard protocols
- Carry out system takeovers, upgrades and migrations from legacy systems
- Diagnose and resolve faults across hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in TCP/IP?, We are seeking a skilled security engineer to join our team. Ideally candidates will have a minimum of five years experience and the ability to work across a wide range of open-protocol electronic security systems, both legacy and modern.
This role involves working on integrated solutions covering access control, cctv, intruder alarms and intercom systems across commercial and enterprise environments.
Engineers should be comfortable upgrading older systems as well as new., * Background working with multi-discipline electronic security systems
- Experience with intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and intercoms
- Ability to work on open protocol systems (IP-based and traditional wiring)
- Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, switches, routers, VLAns)
- Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently on both service and project work.
- Full UK Driving license
- Willing to travel
Company vehicle will be provided. Candidates should be aware that this role requires regular travel. Travel time and associated costs are included within the advertised salary.
